Leo D. Umholtz

Leo Dale Umholtz, 81, of Mount Joy, died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday March 24, 2018 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Elma (Buffington) Umholtz. They would have celebrated 56 years of marriage in June 2018. Born in Gratz, PA he was the son of the late Leo A. and Ruth (Deibert) Umholtz. Leo worked for 32 years as a machinist at AMP, Inc. of Mount Joy before retiring in 1997. He was a member of Crossroads Brethren in Christ Church, Mount Joy. His hobbies included woodworking and fixing small engines.

In addition to his wife, Leo is surived by his four sons Kirby D. (Kaye) Umholtz of Mount Joy, Michael D. (Diane) of Ashland, MA, Eric L. (Karen) of Marietta, Joel L. (Jaclyn) of Central Manor; a daughter Christine A. (Tim) Kelly of Kenya; 18 grandchildren; a brother Richard (Vivian) Umholtz of Virginia Beach, VA and a sister Diane (Ernest) Schreffler of Halifax, PA

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Leo's memorial service on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Cross Roads Brethren in Christ Church, 800 Donegal Springs Road, Mount Joy at 2:00 PM with Pastor Sean Muldowney officiating.
