June D. Bissinger
June 4, 1925 — January 21, 2019
June D. Bissinger, 93, of Manheim, died on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Pleasant View Retirement Community. Born in Manheim, June was the daughter of the late Harry and Grace Derr Myers. She was the loving wife of Melvin E. “Barney” Bissinger who died in 2013. June was a graduate of Manheim High School and after graduation she went on to work part time for the former Stiegel Printing. She was a faithful member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manheim. June enjoyed walking and reading.
Surviving is a son, Michael husband of Donna Bissinger, of Elizabethtown, a son-in-law, Carl Dommel, of Lititz, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Dommel, two sisters, and a brother.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery. Those desiring may send contributions in June’s memory to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster PA 17604-4125.
