June Arlene Young

June Arlene Young, 92, of Manheim, died unexpectedly Monday January 8, 2018 at Longwood Manor, Maytown. She was the wife of Chester R. Young who died in 1987. Born in Manheim she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Alice (Long) Showers. June was an assembler at DATCON of East Petersburg. She was a member of Elstonville Sportsman ‘s Assoc. and had attended Ruhl’s United Methodist Church. June enjoyed shopping and collecting jewelry.

Surviving are two granddaughters Tina wife of Paul Rampulla Jr., Elizabethtown, Pamela Henry, Lititz and three great grandchildren Christopher Henry, Samantha wife of Benjamin Simms and Cameron Hicks. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son Gregory L. Young, a brother Mark showers, and a sister Gladys Shaub.

Relatives and friends are respectfully to attend her viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, on Thursday January 11, 2018 form 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Services and Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
