John R. Bires

John Ronald Bires, 78, of Lititz, passed away on Saturday December 31, 2016 at Magnolias of Lancaster. Born in Campbelltown, he was the son of the late John and Leona Wells Bires. Ronald was the loving husband of the late Ruth Keller Bires who died in November of 2012. For over 40 years Ronald was a local truck driver for various companies and most recently for Central Pennsylvania Transportation where he put in many long hours. He enjoyed yard work, walking his dogs and hunting in his earlier years.

Surviving is a daughter, Sharon wife of Robin Fears of Lancaster, three sons: Allan husband of Nancy Leed Bires of Ephrata, Ronald, husband of Jackie Burkhart Bires of Lititz, and Michael, husband of Holly Mearig Bires of Manheim. Preceding him in death is his sister, Carol Brandt.
