H. Delores Becker

H. Delores Becker, 85, formerly of Doe Run Road, Lititz, died peacefully, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Luther Acres, Lititz.  She was the wife of the late Jay Hershey Becker who died in 2009.  Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Harry P. and Lillian (Henry) Hershey.  Delores was a proud homemaker for her family.  She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Manheim, and a graduate of Manheim High School, class of 1946.  In her free time Delores enjoyed crafts and sewing.     

Surviving is a daughter Robin, wife of Dennis Bender of Mount Joy, three sons Terry, husband of Pamela Becker of Quarryville, Thomas, husband of Lori Becker of Lititz, Timothy, husband of Jolie Becker of Mobile, AL, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a brother Larry husband of Gerry Hershey of Mount Joy.    

Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers contributions in Delores’ memory may be sent to Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 48 Market Square, Manheim, PA 17545 or to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster PA 17604-4125.
