Erma M. Forrey

Erma M. Forrey, 89, formerly of Mountville, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Brethren Village. Born on October 15, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ebersole Dick. She was the wife of the late Kenneth H. Forrey who died in 2000. In her earlier years, Erma worked for numerous sewing factories, cleaned for several Doctor’s offices and was a cook at KinderCare, Lancaster. She was a member of Chestnut Hill Mennonite Church, Columbia. Erma enjoyed reading, flower gardening and she loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving are six children, K. Eugene husband of Nancy J. Forrey of Mountville, Joan wife of James Erb of Manheim, Donald husband of Claudia B. Forrey of Millersville, Larry husband of Kristine Forrey of Mount Joy, Pamela wife of D. Scott Parmer of Manheim and Patricia wife of Kenneth Dearolf Jr. of Mount Joy, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a sister, Ruth Nolt of Lititz. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Weidman.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in East Petersburg Mennonite Cemetery.
