Elsie B. Snavely

Elsie B. Snavely, 99, of Manheim, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Pleasant View Retirement Community. Born in Dauphin County, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Ada Lesher Brandt. Elsie was the wife of the late Earl H. Snavely who died in October of 2005. Elsie helped her husband on the family farm in Rapho Township; where she raised vegetables and flowers which were sold at Roots Market and had a sales route in Palmyra and Lebanon areas. She was an active and faithful member of the White Oak Church of the Brethren, Manheim.

Surviving is a daughter, Mildred wife of James Benedict of Manheim, a son, Marlin husband of Jane Snavely of Lititz, five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and a brother, Harold L. husband of Martha Brandt of Elizabethtown. Preceding her in death is a grandson, Steven Snavely, a sister, Lillian Kreider, and two brothers: Roy and Paul Brandt.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery.
