Eli R. Beachy

Eli R. Beachy, 86, of Brunnerville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Born in Somerset County, Eli was the son of the late Rufus and Amanda Yoder Beachy. He was the loving husband of the late Irene Hornberger Beachy, who passed away in February of 2014.
A kind and gentle man, Eli studied the Concordant Bible and was strong in his faith as a Christian. He was the owner and operator of Eli R. Beachy’s Used Cars in Brunnerville, where he specialized in transmission repairs.
He is survived by a daughter, Pat Brotzman of Ephrata; three grandchildren, Dawn Nolt Brennan of Akron, Holly, wife of Michael Graham of Gap, Gene, husband of Cindy Snyder of North Carolina; and five great grandchildren. Preceding him in death, in addition to his wife, Irene, is a daughter, Gloria Jean Woodring and a son-in-law, Lester C. Brotzman.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery.
