Delores A. Landvater

Delores A. Landvater, 79, of Halifax, died peacefully Friday February 17, 2017 at the Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg. She was the wife of David R. Landvater, Sr. and they celebrated 62 years of marriage in July 2016. Born in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Susan Landvater. Delores was a homemaker most of her life. She was an avid reader, enjoyed bowling at Clearview Lanes, watching “Phillies Baseball” and Professional Bowling, she was also a former girls baseball coach, and loved riding her ATV with her daughter and grandchildren on the farm.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters Sandra K. Eby and companion Barry Dissinger, Mount Joy, Joyce M. Landvater, Elizabethtown, Patricia A. wife of Donald Flowers of Newsmantown; three grandchildren Crystal Eby, Harold Eby, Craig Landvater; and three great-grandsons. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son David R. Landvater, Jr. (1992) and several brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at 8:00 PM. There will be a public viewing on Wednesday from 7:00 pm until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
