Betty Lou Baker, 65, of Manheim died unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Born in Bethlehem, she is the daughter of Elizabeth Youngkin Becklin of Manheim and the late Louis Bayak. Betty Lou worked as a caregiver at Luther Acres, Lititz. She was the wife of the late, John F. Baker who died August 1995. Betty Lou enjoyed shopping, dining out, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her mother is a son, John, Jr. husband of Jane Baker of Roherstown, a daughter, Suzanne wife of Bernard Reiley, Manheim, 2 grandchildren, Alexis Baker, Adam John Kline, a sister, Mary Louise Richards of Bethlehem, and two brothers, Steven husband of Shirley Bayak of Allentown, Ronald husband of Pauline Becklin of Bethlehem.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsburg, PA. There will be a time of visitation with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
