Barry Lee Meallow

October 5, 1946 — August 23, 2014

Barry Lee Meallow, 67, of Lititz, died on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Harry and Ruth Martin Meallow. Barry was the husband of the late Linda L. Nauman Meallow who died in 1993. He worked in the shipping department for F. L. Smidth Inc. Manheim. Barry had many interests and hobbies including: crafts, wood working, embroidery, and camping. He was a self-taught artist and graduated from Lampeter Strasburg High School.

Surviving are two daughters: Melissalynn Meallow wife of Alvah W. Weaver Jr., Michelle Lee wife of James I. Weit Jr. all of Lititz, and a sister, Cassandra wife of Jack Neiss of Strasburg. Preceding Barry in death is a son, Garry Lee Meallow, and a grandson, Alvah W. Weaver III.

Graveside service will be at Longeneckers Brethren Cemetery, route 772 and Longenecker Road, Lititz, on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 3:00 PM. There will be a viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Friday afternoon from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Please omit flowers. The family requests that contributions made be made in his memory to the Buch Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
