Arlene K. Snader

Arlene K. Snader, 81, of Lititz, died peacefully Friday January 5, 2018. She was surrounded by her family in her last days.

Born in Rapho Twp, she was the daughter of the late Clayton M and Leah Kilhefner Kreider.

Arlene was a charter member of Grace Church, Lititz, and many Sunday mornings you could find her sitting in the cafe enjoying visiting with friends. She was an avid reader, enjoyed having her family around her and sitting by a campfire. In her earlier years she enjoyed roller skating. She retired from Case New Holland.

Arlene is survived by six children: Jane Kurtz, Lititz; Janice Moyer, Ephrata; Dennis Snader, Gettysburg; Judy Resh, Manheim; Jeanette Snader, Lancaster; and Joan McCracken, Lititz; one Brother: Noah Kreider, Lancaster; two sisters: Mary Hartz, New Oxford; and Elva Martin, Denver; thirteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Arlene’s life celebration service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private in Longeneckers Brethren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Arlene’s memory to Hospice and Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
